This cup and saucer is decorated with an abundance of spring bulbs. It's Solian Ware by Simpsons, Cobridge c.1944-51. This one is an unidentified piece and is probably quite old. The china is delicate and the cup has unusual scalloped edges. | Quaint cottages and bountiful vines create an idyllic scene on this Copeland cup and saucer called Spode's Byron. The impressed mark indicates that it was probably made in March 1938. Dark green motifs of ivy leaves stand out on the white bone china of this Colclough cup and saucer. |
There's a cup and saucer for each season: Bulbs for spring, grape vines for summer, reddish hues for autumn and snow and ivy for winter!
