We had another great vintage fair this Saturday at the Cambridge Guildhall. This time it was a special sale event and over 1000 bargain hunters came in search of thrifty vintage. Plenty of happy customers went home from our stall with great finds, including cute china plates for just £1 and vintage mackintoshes for just a fiver.

Our best dressed customers of the day were this trio. Beautiful tailoring and authentic accessories created their fabulous forties look. You can see more of their vintage activities and fantastic outfits at forties4me.

I went for a later look, with this vintage dress that my Dad gave my Mum back in 1970. I love the patchwork detailing and fringing. I briefly teamed it with this 70s wide brim hat that I borrowed from the stall.

Did you pick up any good bargains from the fair?

Wow, I see so many things I would've loved to buy if I was there.
