This week we bought a beautiful collection of vintage linens from a woman who brought them along to our stall Cambridge Market.
All the tablecloths, dressing table mats and cushion covers are painstakingly embroidered and you can see hours of work has gone into creating the designs.

With less than a month to go until the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, we've seen a rising interest in all things royal. What I love about commemorative ware, particularly mugs, is the amount of variation in the different makes and designs. So, I was especially pleased to find these two unusual Silver Jubilee mugs.
The first has a natural quality, with the earthy glaze and handmade form. The handpainted crown and ER design is charmingly done. The second piece of memorabilia features the City of Cambridge crest and so, as a local business, is significant to us.
You can find these and more royal memorabilia at our Cambridge Market stall on a Monday and at our stall at
Vintage Tea and Treasures on May 27th. Can't wait!
We've now got our hands on some great vintage utensils. Feast your eyes on these retro kitchen gadgets. Can you guess what they are for?

Curious aren't they! Here are the answers:
1. Cutter for crinkle chips by Nutbrown
2. Tomato slicer by Skyline
3. Columbus hard boiled egg wedger by Westmark
4. Ice cream scoop made in Japan
I'm tempted to try them out. Just need to think of a recipe involving chips, tomatoes, eggs and ice cream!
